Earlier this week I read the Psalm 67 (66 in the Psalter According to the Seventy-my favorite translation!).
God be gracious unto us and bless us, and cause His face to shine upon us and have mercy on us, that we may know upon the earth Thy way, among all the nations Thy salvation.
Psalter 66
Let all the peoples give Thee praise, O God, let all the peoples praise Thee.
Let the nations be glad and rejoice, for Thou shalt judge peoples with uprightness, and nations shalt Thou guide upon the earth.
Let the peoples give Thee praise, O God, let all the peoples praise Thee; the earth hath yielded her fruit.
Let God, our God, bless us; let God bless us, and let all the ends of the earth fear Him.
Yesterday I went for a walk in the woods with a friend and I happened to look up at just the right moment. And in this moment I felt God’s grace shine down on us!

I’ve been hiding away in my house lately and not pursuing my goals of getting out to hike or even work out in my yard. But in this moment I realized how much I’ve been missing by hiding away. I realized how much I have been missing by not looking up. And I realized how empty I had become because of it.
What things do you pursue that you may feel God’s grace, mercy and love?
