It is 2022!
Wow!
I just can’t believe it is 2022! The last 2 years are such a blur, so much has happened, yet so little! Time flows beyond my comprehension and I feel so unsure how we can possibly be here in this place at this moment.
You know what I mean!?
Time to bring back a focus that I’ve needed for quite some time.
Christ!
Several tools the Church has given us helps me to bring my focus back, each time I get lost: Saints and Sundays.
Today we commemorate one of my favorite saints, St. Seraphim. I’ve spoken quite a bit about St. Seraphim because he is such an inspiration to me. When I grow up, I want to be like St. Seraphim.

And as every Sunday, we commemorate the Resurrection. We are always reminded that Christ is risen!

My New Year goals are to get back in focus. To work a bit harder to keep my eyes on Jesus. To work a bit harder to be like Jesus. And to become more of a kindler of joy and more of a healing presence, especially in my own home!
What are your New Year goals?
Thank you for this lovely post. My goals? To love more for sure is one. To pray more also. I would love to be able to be in church more if our health will allow.
