I promise this will be the last time I mention Christmas cards…for this year. It’s just that I had an amazing idea come to mind and I wanted to share it with you!
You know the home party’s people have? Tupperware, Pampered Chef, etc. I don’t want to sell anything (except maybe letter writing in general) but I had a great idea to have a party with a purpose!
I am going to have a Christmas Card Prep Party!
I love letter writing and I think we all need to send Christmas cards so I thought it would be so fun to share this with my friends. What a perfect excuse to get together with friends; have some snacks, some wine & cider. Everyone can bring their cards, address books, stamps and we will listen to Christmas music, visit and write!
I will also have envelope decorating supplies as well as lots of extra cards from years past and my thrifting. I might even put out supplies for people to make their own cards.
I think this sounds so fun!
It promotes this lost art. It brings together friends for fellowship. It will be an afternoon of joy!
I posted an invite in my Church newsletter as well as send out personal invitations. It will probably sound strange to most but it just might turn out to be one of the best times of the season. I’ll persevere and just possibly turn this into all the rage!
